Salisbury, Massachusetts – 09/09/18

Another beautiful coastal sunrise.

Another beautiful run along the coast.

All packed up and on the road just after 9 am.

A stop for gas along the way.

Across the border and into New Hampshire.

As we were driving through Portsmouth, New Hampshire we spotted a submarine and museum alongside the road. We decided to turn around and have a look.

The submarine was the USS Albacore, a unique research submarine that pioneered the American version of the teardrop hull form of modern submarines and served from 1953 to 1972.

It was amazing being able to explore a former working naval submarine.

Once we were back in the motorhome we decided to drive through downtown historic Portsmouth. As beautiful as it looked, this was not a place where a 30 foot RV should be.

We hightailed out of there as quick as we could.

Back driving south through the gorgeous beachside towns including Hampton Beach.

Across the border and into Massachusetts until we reached our destination for tonight, Beach Rose RV Park, Salisbury, Massachusetts.

Light lunch in the motorhome.

A lovely afternoon ride down to Salisbury Beach, past the cute beach houses and through the quiet little streets.

The weather is changing and it is is now very cool, summer feels over, the shops are closing for the season and it is beginning to feel a lot like fall…

More time to relax in the motorhome before jumping on our bikes for dinner at the Hungry Traveler.
