A little sleep in till almost 7 am.
Two loads of washing, breakfast, relaxing and a change to another site in the RV Park.
There are supposed to be scattered showers during the morning, however, the weather looks fine at the moment.
Just after 9 am, we decided to get moving before the skies decided to open.
First, a haircut for Pete.
Pete’s haircut was so good that Noah whispered in my ear that he might be thinking about getting one too. What the??? Our Noah the “I’m not getting another haircut until we get back to Australia” Noah?
We jumped on his haircut confidence and both Noah and Wes had an American haircut they were very happy with.
Three happy hair Browns.
Just as we left the barbers the skies did decide to open up. We took shelter under a tree with our wet weather defence, one umbrella and Peter in a raincoat and stayed put until there was a gap in the heavy rain for us to make a dash to the supermarket.
It continued to pour.
We wandered the supermarket, unable to even make a purchase as it was one of the members-only types until the rain eased.
A lovely walk along the Hudson River admiring the Manhattan skyline until the skies opened up again.
We retreated for lunch into a small marketplace until it was only drizzling and we could make the walk back to the motorhome.
On our return I stopped at the hair salon down from the RV Park to check if they had any free appointments and success, they had one available straight away.
Today’s result, 4 out 4 happy hair Browns and New York ready.
A short walk Jersey City and an Australian owned restaurant, Frankie for dinner.
